Update on Children Returning in Years 2, 3, 4 and 5

As stated in a previous newsletter, we are planning to open in the last week of term (week beginning Monday 13th July and finish on Friday 17th July) to children in Years 2, 3 4 and 5.  We hope that this plan will give all children the opportunity to finish their school year together, feeling happier and looking forward to a summer holiday and the new school year.

We are planning for all children to be taught in smaller ‘bubbles’ like children in school presently. This means that classes will be split into smaller groups and they may not be taught by their class teacher. There will be no Breakfast Club or Chill Time Klub during this week.

As this requires planning to ensure we have sufficient staff and space, we are asking all parents and carers to let us know if they would like their child to attend or not. We can then let everybody know what days children can come into school during this week.

There will be no consequences, if parents and carers choose to keep their children at home until September

It would be extremely helpful if you could let us know as soon as possible, preferably by email - christ.the.king.p@bristol-schools.uk, if you wish your child to attend during the week beginning or not.

Yours sincerely

Matt Condon
Headteacher
