Dear parents and carers,

On Friday evening, due to the increasing number of children attending schools nationally, the government issued the following clarification:

‘Parents and carers who are critical workers should keep their children at home if they can’.

This will affect some parents and carers who have chosen to send their children to school, but are still able to look after their children at home. If this is the case, can you please not send your child to school and contact us tomorrow, so we can plan remote learning accordingly. 

With increasing numbers of children in school, and the risk of transmission being high, we must follow government guidance carefully on this matter.
