Dear Parents/Carers,
Halloween at the Lord Mayor’s
This is a Halloween Half term activity hosted by the Lord Mayor at his official residence, the Mansion House, Canynge Rd, Clifton, BS8 3LJ.
At 1600 on Wednesday 31 October, the Lady Mayoress and I will open the doors to our beautiful Victorian mansion for spooky story-telling, games and a fancy dress competition.
This is a fabulous opportunity to visit one of Bristol’s secret (and spooky!) gems. We have 30 places available, which will be allocated on a first come first basis should be booked early to avoid disappointment. Children must be accompanied by an adult (strictly limited to one place). Bookings should be made via lordmayor@bristol.gov.uk.
Big Breakfast Week
There is a Big Breakfast Week running from 12th to 16th November. Fareshare are organising this event and during the week the school will get a visit from a local celebrity chef to make smoothies with the children. It is likely that there will be a visit from the Bristol Evening Post.
Pupil Places Available
The school is almost full but we do have some space available in Year 2, 5 and 6. If you know somebody who might need a school place, please ask them to contact the school office.
