Christmas Baazar
It was lovely to see so many of you at the Baazar last Saturday. The Baazar raised just over £2,000 for the Parish and the Community. Thank you.
Christmas Jumper Day
Christmas Jumper Day will be celebrated on Friday 21st December. Children can wear their Christmas jumper along with their normal school uniform.
Parking
Please DO NOT park on the zigzag lines as this causes danger to the children when crossing the road.
These lines (including the loading bay) are enforceable. This means that Bristol City Council are using mobile cameras to photograph vehicles that are parked illegally and will be issuing fines. We have been asked to contact the enforcement department with details of vehicles parked (or stopping) illegally.
Paediatric First Aid
A Paediatric first aid course is being held at Filwood Community Centre. Please contact Lucy on 07788353446.
Attendance
Well done to the following classes who had attendance at over 97% this week:
Year 1 - 97%
Year 2 - 99%
Year 4 - 97%
Year 6 - 98%
This means Year 2 will have a special non-uniform day on a later date which will be decided by Mrs Triggs.
Dealing with Problems
If parents have any problems regarding their child, they are always advised to see the class teacher. Alternatively you can always speak to Mrs Selway or myself on the front gate, or speak to the team in the office who will find the right person to help.
Recently we have had problems being shared on Facebook that have not been shared with the school. If we are told what you are worried about, we will always do our best to address your concerns.
Christmas lunch
The children’s Christmas dinner day is the 19th December. Children will be booked in for a Christmas lunch unless you let the school office know. The school cook needs to have the number of Christmas dinners to prepare before the day. The cost will be £2.10 for Junior Children.
Summer Chill Time Klub
Summer Chill Time Klub will run again during the summer holiday next year. The Klub will be open on w/c 29th July and 5th August. If you would like to book your child into the Klub please telephone the school office.
