Dear Parents and Carers,

Lent Fundraising Events

We are very excited, and proud to announce, that our Lenten fundraising has raised a whopping £994.80!!!

This is a fantastic achievement and we would like to thank everyone for their wonderful donations and support over the past few weeks.

The money was raised for the following charities, and our final total will be divided equally between them…

 - Refuge - for women and children against domestic violence - https://www.refuge.org.uk/

- The Ukrainian Refugee crisis - https://www.savethechildren.org/us/what-we-do/emergency-response/refugee-children-crisis/ukrainian-refugees

- CAFOD - https://cafod.org.uk/News/Emergencies-news/Ukraine-crisis

PE Kit Reminder

Please can we remind parents that our school PE Kit is black shorts/jogging bottoms and a plain white t-shirt. Children should not be wearing brand name or brightly coloured sportswear/tracksuits and clothing for their PE Lessons.

CTK Nursery Class - Places Available

We are extremely proud of our new(ish) nursery class which is open for 3 and 4 year olds. Our Early Years Team have worked really hard to make it a welcoming and enjoyable place for children to play and learn, developing the skills they need ready for primary school. You can take a look at the fantastic work that’s been going on through the Nursery page on our school website - https://sites.google.com/a/ctk.education/www/nursery-class_1

If you are interested in applying for a place for your child or think you may know someone who is interested, please ask them to contact the school office to express interest.

Filwood Hope

Filwood Hope is a registered charity based at Filwood Broadway providing support around housing, money, employment and general advice. They have been working within Knowle West since 1996 and have become an integral part of the community. Unfortunately, in recent years, funding for this valuable service has been cut, so they are now having to ask for public donations to enable them to continue to run their invaluable services.

If you are interested in making a donation, please visit www.filwoodhope.org/appeal  - all donations will be gratefully received and help the team at Filwood Hope carry on supporting our community.
